Nasreen Lozano,” said a government spokesman, citing the video interview.

“This video shows that the video was a hoax and that Ms. Nasreen Lozano was not involved in the shooting. We want to clarify that this is not the case.”

However, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives recently confirmed that it was seeking her indictment, which has not been made public.

Federal prosecutors confirmed a federal investigation was under way. “It is possible that such an investigation is ongoing,” said David Murray, an ATF spokesman.

The two officers responded to a call in the 2100 block of South Damen Avenue, just a minute from home. They confronted the man sitting in an ambulance on the porch of the home and saw that he wasn’t complying. One of the officers then began firing at the male with what turned out to be a gun, according to court records.

The male was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two other officers, identified as Jason Lippen and Joshua Zuniga, have been placed on administrative leave. Their names and the officers’ positions have not been released.

The U.S. attorney’s office in the case has said they are looking into whether anyone else in the area was involved in the shooting.

The U.S. attorney’s office has not yet released the video of the killing, but it is scheduled to be released Friday.

The video shows the two responding officers standing over the male outside the home, but it’s not clear if the male is holding a gun or not. The officers eventually start shooting without informing the man whether he is armed.
